September 2023: Elena attends the SALVE2D23 symposium in Ulm, Germany, and gives an invited talk "Molecular quantum rings: from electron structure to packing behaviour". The symposium also featured a very warm SALUTE session on the occasion of Prof. Ute Kaiser's 70th Birthday. Ute is our long standing collaborator and friend with whom we published 16 papers to date and had our first collaborative project 15 years ago.
August 2023: Ilya attends the EuChemS CompChem 2023 Conference in Thessaloniki, Greece and presents his recent work on Effective Hamiltonian of Crystal Field (EHCF) method for periodic systems containing transition metals.
March 2023: Elena gives a research seminar entitled "Flexibility and curvature of 2D supramolecular arrays and graphene" at the Cambridge Graphene Centre. The visit was hosted by Prof. Andrea Ferrari, the Director of the Cambridge Graphene Centre.
February 2023: Elena gives a keynote lecture "Effective hamiltonian of crystal field method for periodic systems containing transition metals" at the Asia Pacific Conference of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry APATCC-10, Quy Nhon, Vitenam.
